I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Practitioner based in the Green Mountains of Vermont.
IFS is a way of listening inward and coming to know the many parts of ourselves with openness and compassion. It is a practice of creating safety within, where each aspect of our experience can be met with respect and care, rather than pushed away.
I am Level 2 trained, and my work has been shaped by many years within a non-profit domestic and sexual violence agency. Within this setting, I have worked primarily with children and youth who have experienced sexual harm or violence in the home. I have brought Internal Family Systems into advocacy as a way of supporting healing and connection.
My approach is gentle and attuned, shaped by trauma-informed care, body awareness, and a deep respect for pacing that is client-centered. This work is grounded in consent and collaboration, and in a trust that healing does not come from pushing or forcing change, but from creating enough safety and “being with” ourselves, where a shift may occur and something new can emerge.
Outside of this work, I enjoy time in the woods with my dog or going for a swim. I enjoy reading, and spending time with my adult children and close friends. I am an avid learner and am always looking for ways to deepen my understanding of myself and the world around me.
